- Me on my wedding day: you still like me right
Hello to all my new followers! I hope you enjoy my “Peace” of this world, haha get it? xD
“kill myself” was the most common answer when they contemplated the possibility of life as a girl
Yeah, tell me again how misogyny “isn’t real” and men and boys actually “love”, “like” and “respect the female sex”? This is how deep misogynistic propaganda runs in this world. Men and boys are so viscerally contemptuous of anything or anyone who/that is female or feminine, or perceived to be female or feminine, that they would rather commit suicide than to be associated with— or become a member of— the female sex. As Germaine Greer said, “women have no idea how much men hate them.”
they would rather die then be treated how they treat us
You’re looking at it wrong. They may have said this choice because of the sudden limitations and expectations implemented on them by society. Not because they’re now “Female”. If you were a white male or female and told you became a member of the black community in the 50’s and prior, wouldn’t you have turned to death instantaneously, instead of dealing with racism and socioeconomic ridicule. I’m just stating that although misogyny is quite profound in males now and throughout history, it is not the only means of consideration and justifications for all males, and not all males are misogynists.
Surrealism has enacted, since its inception, a critique and a carnival of the object under capitalism. And in doing so, it has anticipated and transcended the self-ironizing discourse of postmodern consumerism.
I hate sounding like a depressed teenager on my blog but I just have this enate relation to the post :c
